CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS [Modified per Addendum#1] <br /> BID SCHEDULE SUMMARY AND NOTES <br /> IBIDDER: KJ B Construction, Inc <br /> TOTAL BID AMOUNT—SCHEDULE A, B, & C $ 4. X74, 3 t <br /> The total bid amount shall be the sum of following Bid Schedules A, B, &C. <br /> INOTES: <br /> Schedule A and C are associated with sanitary sewer system work and Section 1-07.2(2) Sales <br /> I Tax—Rule 170 of the Special Provisions is applicable for the payment of sales tax. The <br /> Contractor shall not include Washington State Retail Sales Tax in the various bid item prices. <br /> The City will automatically add retail sales tax to payments made to the Contractor on Schedule <br /> I <br /> "A"and Schedule "C"bid items. <br /> Schedule B is associated with stormwater and combined sewer system work and Section 1- <br /> 111 07.2(2)Sales Tax—Rule 171 of the Special Provisions is applicable for the payment of sales tax, <br /> The Contractor shall include Washington State Retail Sales Tax in the various bid item prices, <br /> including those that the Contractor pays on the purchase of materials, equipment, or supplies <br /> Iused or consumed in doing work. <br /> The quantities listed in these schedules are intended to represent the actual work associated with <br /> I <br /> the respective type of work under that schedule. Some bid items are common to the overall <br /> • <br /> project such as Mobilization, Traffic Control, Street Removal and Restoration. Quantities for <br /> non-lump sum bid items are apportioned at approximately 35%to Schedule A and 65%to <br /> I <br /> Schedule B. Lump Sum bid items shall also be divided between the two schedules such that, in <br /> the Engineers opinion,represent a reasonable apportionment of that work at the listed plan <br /> quantity percentages. The contractor should estimate the overall total project cost for lump sum <br /> I bid items; Surveying, Contractor's Liaison,Mobilization, Maintenance and Protection of Traffic <br /> Control, Temporary Sediment and Erosion Control, and Pavement Marling and insect that total <br /> cost amount on both schedules for the respective bid items.
