Y The provisions of this ordinance shall also supersede Admissions Tax EMC 3.20.170 (Prior Code § 4.50.160), EMC 3.20.200 (Ordinance 293-74 §2(part) Prior Code §4.50.180,4.60.030); Business and Occupation Tax—Utilities EMC 3.28.160 (Prior Code §4.04.170), EMC 3.28.170 (Prior Code § 4.04.190), EMC 3.28.190 (Prior Code §4.04.200), EMC 3.28.200 (Prior Code § 4.04.220); Gambling Tax EMC 3.36.090 (Ordinance 1023-84 § 9, 1984), EMC 3.36.100 (Ordinance 1023-84 § 10, 1984), EMC 3.36.130 (Ordinance 2517-1(part), 2001; Ordinance 1023-84 § 13, 21, 1984); EMC 3.36.140 (Ordinance 2517-1(part), 2001; Ordinance 1023-84 § 14, 1984), EMC 3.36.150 (Ordinance 1023-84 § 15, 1984), EMC 3.36.170 (Ordinance 1023-84 § 17, 1984). All rules and regulations issued by the City Clerk relating to the existing and previous tax ordinances, shall remain in full force and effect. Section 29. Severability. If any provision of this chapter or its application to any person or circumstance is held invalid,the remainder of the chapter or the application of the'provision to other persons or circumstances shall not be affected. Section 30. Savings. The enactment of this ordinance shall not affect any case, proceeding, appeal or other matter currently before the City or in any court. Section 31. Codification Corrections. The City Clerk and the codifiers of this ordinance are authorized to make necessary corrections to this ordinance including , but not limited to, the correction of scrivener's/clerical errors, references, ordinance numbering, section/subsection numbers and any references thereto.
