#11111 — ORDINANCE NO. 2593-02 AN ORDINANCE creating the Special Improvement Projects, in Fund 303, entitled "Wetmore Avenue Improvement Project", Program 052, and "Hoyt Avenue Improvement Project", Program 053, to accumulate all costs for the improvement projects. WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to a planned street and road improvement program; and WHEREAS, the City of Everett has identified the need and received a Federal grant for the conversion of Wetmore and Hoyt Avenues from one-way to two-way streets; and NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: Two special improvement projects are hereby established as Fund 303, Program 052, entitled "Wetmore Avenue Improvement Project", and Fund 303, Program 053, entitled "Hoyt Avenue Improvement Project" to accumulate all costs for the improvement projects. Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, Program 052 and Program 053, for the improvement projects. Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted for the "Engineering/Public Services Director," under direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. Section 4: The sum of $921,150.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 052 "Wetmore Avenue Improvement Project" and Program 053 " Hoyt Avenue Improvement Project", as follows: A. Estimated Project Costs Wetmore Avenue Improvement Project—Program 052 Design $ 71,175 Construction $ 474,500 Total Estimated Cost $ 545,675 Hoyt Avenue Improvement Project—Program 053 Design $ 48,975 Construction $ 326,500 Total Estimated Cost $ 375,475
