• <br /> • <br /> the violation occurred; and (2) that in such case, any notice in this chapter required <br /> to be sent to the registered owner shall instead be sent to the person to whom <br /> ownership has been so transferred. <br /> Section 4: That Section 23 of Ordinance No. 2180-96 (EMC 46.28.230 A (1)) which <br /> reads in part as follows: <br /> EMC 46.28.230 Parking lots - Official vehicles. <br /> A. City Parking Lots. <br /> 1. The provisions of this chapter shall apply to the city's parking lots located at the <br /> Hoyt Garage, the city's Public Works Building, Transportation Operations Center, <br /> on Fulton and to those parking lots located immediately south and west of the city of <br /> Everett building located at 3002 Wetmore Avenue and north of the city building <br /> located at 2930 Wetmore Avenue, including the parking facility located under said <br /> building. <br /> 2. No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle within parking lots described in <br /> subsection A.1 of this section in any parking space which is designated "Leased" <br /> unless the person stops, stands or parks in a parking space which is leased to <br /> him/her by the city. No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle in any parking <br /> space which is designated "Police Only" unless that person stops, stands or parks a <br /> city police vehicle which is designated as an exempt vehicle by the Department of <br /> Licensing. No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle in a parking space which is <br /> otherwise restricted by a specific designation such as "Mayor" or "Police Chief' <br /> unless that person is assigned that space by the city. No person shall stop, stand or <br /> park a vehicle in any parking space designated "Official Business" unless that <br /> person is attending to official city business at a city building. No person shall stop, <br /> stand or park a vehicle in any parking space designated "Rideshare Parking" unless <br /> that person has a valid permit to do so. <br /> 3. No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle within parking lots described in <br /> subsection A.1 of this section where official signs prohibit stopping, standing or <br /> parking. <br /> BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS: <br /> EMC 46.28.230 Parking Facilities. <br /> A. City Parking Facilities. <br /> 1. The provisions of this chapter shall apply to all city of Everett owned or <br /> controlled parking facilities; provided, in the case of any City owned or controlled <br /> parking facility managed by the a third party, the third party may impose <br /> provisions in addition to or in lieu of the provisions of this chapter.
