City Council approved the SMP in March 2001, and we anticipate approval of the plan by DOE in February 2002. The Mayor has appointed a Shoreline Public Access Citizen Advisory Committee. Additionally,$25,000 of funding is requested from unspent funds previously approved for Transit Oriented Design (TOD)$15,000 and Gateway Corridors$10,000 (2000 Budget Adjustment Tally#GGA-19). Planning has requested an amendment of$50,000 to cover costs of a consultant to develop the shoreline access plan in 2002 and printing costs for the plan.
