FINDINGS AND DECISION <br /> OF THE HEARING EXAMINER OF THE <br /> CITY OF EVERETT <br /> IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION <br /> OF TRADE-MARX SIGN AND DISPLAY <br /> CORPORATION <br /> "SONRISE CHRISTIAN CENTER" VARIANCE #14-004 <br /> SUMMARY OF DECISION: The requested variance to allow an <br /> additional sign at 11627 Airport Road, <br /> Everett, Washington, is granted subject to <br /> the condition as listed herein. <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> Trade-Marx Sign and Display Corporation, on behalf of the owners of Sonrise Christian <br /> Center, (Applicant) requested approval of a variance from the sign standards <br /> established in Everett Municipal Code (EMC) 19.31B.090.C.3. The specific relief <br /> sought by the Applicant is a reduction of the distance between multiple signs in an E-1, <br /> Evergreen Way Mixed Use Overlay (MUO) zone in the City of Everett. The ordinance <br /> requires that signs be at least 200 feet apart. The Applicant seeks a variance from this <br /> standard. The property is located at 11627 Airport Road, Everett, Washington (subject <br /> property). <br /> A hearing on the application was held before the Hearing Examiner of the City of <br /> Everett on September 25, 2014.
