Automobile <br /> a. Commercial Automobile Liability: as specified by Insurance Services Office, form <br /> ' number CA 0001, Symbol 1 (any auto), with an MCS 90 endorsement and a CA 9948 <br /> endorsement attached if"pollutants" as defined in exclusion 11 of the commercial auto <br /> policy are to be transported. <br /> ' b. Such policy(ies) must provide coverage with a combined single limit of not less than <br /> $1,000,000 for each accident. <br /> 7. Excess or Umbrella Liability <br /> ' a. The limits stated in this section 15.3.N may be satisfied by a combination of <br /> commercial general liability and,if necessary,commercial umbrella/excess policies. <br /> 8. Pollution Liability <br /> a. A policy providing coverage for claims involving remediation, disposal, or other <br /> handling of pollutants arising out of Contractor's operations for others; contractors site <br /> (owned); arising from the transportation of hazardous materials; or involving <br /> remediation, abatement, repair, maintenance or other work with lead-based paint or <br /> materials containing asbestos. <br /> b. Such Pollution Liability policy shall provide at least $2,000,000 per occurrence <br /> coverage for Bodily Injury and Property Damage. • <br /> - <br /> 9. Worker's Compensation <br /> a. A policy of Worker's Compensation, as required by the Industrial Insurance Laws of <br /> ' the State of Washington. <br /> b. As respects Workers' Compensation insurance in the state of Washington, Contractor <br /> shall secure its liability for industrial injury to its employees in accordance with the <br /> provisions of RCW Title 51. <br /> ' c. If Contractor is qualified as a self-insurer in accordance with RCW 51.14, Contractor <br /> shall so certify by letter signed by a corporate officer indicating that it is a qualified self <br /> insured, and setting forth the limits of any policy of excess insurance covering its <br /> ' employees. <br /> 10. Self-Insurance <br /> a. At its sole option and in its sole discretion, Owner may accept Contractor's self- <br /> insurance for a liability coverage in lieu of insurance from an insurer. <br /> b. Contractor must provide a letter from its Corporate Risk Manager, or appropriate <br /> Finance Officer representing and warranting the following minimum information: <br /> ' whether the self-insurance program is actuarially funded; the fund limits; any excess <br /> declaration pages to meet the Contract requirements; a description of how Contractor <br /> would protect and defend the Owner as an Additional Insured in their Self-Insured <br /> layer; and claims-handling directions in the event of a claim. <br /> ' c. Any amounts due to, sought by, or paid to third party claimants shall be the sole <br /> responsibility of the Contractor, irrespective of whether such amount falls wholly <br /> within the level or amount of the Contractor's self-insured retention. <br /> PSO6 REROUTE 007213 -67 <br /> WO NO.—UP3583 MAY 2016 <br />
