I <br /> CITY OF EVERETT PUBLIC WORKS SECTION 01 20 00 <br /> PRICE AND PAYMENT PROCEDURES <br /> 2. Engineer may respond with a direct answer on the Request for Interpretation form, Field <br /> Order Form,or Change Order Request(Proposal). <br /> D. Engineer will advise of minor changes in the Work not involving adjustment to Contract <br /> Sum/Price or Contract Time by issuing supplemental instructions with Field Order. <br /> E. Engineer may issue Change Order Request (Proposal) including a detailed description of <br /> proposed change with supplementary or revised Drawings and Specifications, and a change in <br /> Contract Time for executing the change. Contractor will prepare and submit estimate within 5 <br /> days. <br /> F. Contractor may propose changes by submitting a request for change to Engineer, describing I <br /> proposed change and its full effect on the Work. Include a statement describing reason for the <br /> change and the effect on Contract Sum/Price and Contract Time with full documentation. <br /> G. Stipulated Sum/Price Change Order: Based on Proposal Request CSI Form 13/6A and <br /> Contractor's fixed price quotation or Contractor's request for Change Order as approved by <br /> Engineer. <br /> H. Unit Price Change Order: For Contract unit prices and quantities, the Change Order will be <br /> executed on a fixed unit price basis. For unit costs or quantities of units of that which are not <br /> predetermined, execute Work under Work Change Directive. Changes in Contract Sum/Price or <br /> Contract Time will be computed as specified for Force Account Change Order. <br /> I. Work Directive Change: Engineer may issue directive,on Work Change Directive Form signed <br /> by Owner, instructing Contractor to proceed with change in the Work, for subsequent inclusion <br /> in a Change Order. Document will describe changes in the Work and designate method of <br /> determining any change in Contract Sum/Price or Contract Time. Promptly execute change. <br /> J. Document each quotation for change in Project Cost or Time with sufficient data to allow <br /> evaluation of quotation. <br /> K. Change Order Forms: Document 006363 Change Order-Agreed, Document 006365 Change <br /> Order-Unilateral. <br /> 1.4 DEFECT ASSESSMENT <br /> A. Replace the Work,or portions of the Work,not conforming to specified requirements. I <br /> B. If, in the opinion of Engineer, it is not practical to remove and replace the Work, Engineer will <br /> direct appropriate remedy or adjust payment. <br /> C. Authority of City to assess defects and identify payment adjustments is final. <br /> 1.5 UNIT PRICES 1 <br /> A.
