I CITY OF EVERETT PUBLIC WORKS DOCUMENT 00 11 13 SPECIAL PROVISIONS ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY OF EVERETT, WASHINGTON SPECIFICATIONS FOR PUGET SOUND OUTFALL NO. 6 REROUTE WO No. - UP3583 NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the Puget Sound Outfall No. 6 (PSO6) Reroute will be received at the office of the City Clerk, 1St Floor Wall Street Building, 2930 Wetmore, Everett, Washington 98201, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. At the appointed time, all bids will be opened and publicly read aloud in the 8th floor hearing room at the Wall Street Building. The engineer's estimate for this Pro- ject is $583,160. Work being performed includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials and equipment neces- sary for construction of a new combined sewer outfall pipe consisting of approximately 182 LF of polypro- pylene pipe and two manholes, including one pile supported manhole, demolition and replacement of bulkhead wall tie backs, where existing tie backs conflict with installation of the new pipe and other such appurtenances and performing all Work as required by the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Documents. The project is located within the Port of Everett Property. Plan sets may also be purchased at Bill's Blueprints (425) 259-0859 at 2920 Rockefeller Avenue, Everett, WA 98201. All bids must be made upon the regular forms provided for this purpose and must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in an amount not less than five percent(5%)of the total amount of the Bid. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid after the hour set for the opening thereof. The City further reserves the right to make the bid award as deemed in the best interest of the City. The right is reserved by the City to postpone the award for a period of forty-five (45)days after bid opening.
