The code violations
here are: IPMC section 106.1 Unlawful Acts. IPMC section 108.1.4 Unlawful Structure.
I suggest that a Stop Work order be posted with follow up enforcement action as necessary to pursue compliance.
Regards
Ted Budden
From: Donald Cunningham
Sent: Wednesday, March 18, 2015 2:55 PM
To: Ted Budden
Subject: 2429 Baker Ave
Ted-
I received a complaint work was being performed at this house without permits. They are working on a deck attached to
the south side of the house, and repairing the adjacent floor and walls inside the house. They apparently came into Bldg
and asked if they needed a permit to build a 10x10 deck.
They say the gas company installed the water heater and that they are only replacing electrical switches and outlets-but
it looked a bit more extensive to me.See also the floor joice they are replacing and the rot at the top of the exterior
walls.
Your thoughts? Permit required?
Thanks!
Don
Donald Cunningham
Code Enforcement Officer
Everett Police Department
Desk 425 257-8564
dcunningham@everettwa.gov
1
