These comments <br /> address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments <br /> (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the (2012 International Building Code,) (2012 <br /> International Residential Code,) as amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy <br /> Code 2012 Edition, and adopted by the City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the <br /> Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the corrections <br /> requested, along with a reduced set of plans no larger than 11"x 17". <br /> 1. Show how proposed addition meets lateral bracing requirements for wind and seismic loads per <br /> section R602.10 International Residential Code (IRC). All braced wall panels shall be clearly <br /> marked on the plans. <br /> 2. Specify whole house ventilation fan size per table M1507.3.3 (1) IRC, show on plans. Show how <br /> all rooms are provided with ventilation. <br /> 3. Provide detail of floor joists where parallel to new foundation.
