The purpose of this letter is to summarize <br /> construction observations performed by Hart Crowser at the site. Hart Crowser was responsible for the <br /> following items: <br /> 1. Observe and Monitor Excavation, <br /> 2. Micropile Installation, and <br /> 3. Drilled Shaft Installation. <br /> We have provided full-time or part-time observations(depending on the level of construction activity) <br /> between June 11, 2015,and September 21, 2015,to observe the activities identified above. A summary <br /> of our inspection activities is provided in the following sections. Detailed information was documented <br /> in our daily field reports that were transmitted to the Coffman and other project team members during <br /> construction. We completed 52 field reports documenting our observations on this project. <br /> 1. Observe and Monitor Excavation and Subgrade Condition. Hart Crowser was on site on a part- <br /> time to full-time basis to observe this work and to observe overexcavation and subgrade <br /> conditions. Observations are summarized in our field reports for the site. <br /> 2. Micropile Installation. We observed the installation of the micropile piles for this project on a full- <br /> time basis. We also observed two full-scale load tests on test piles and production testing. The <br /> pile load test results and updated recommendations were documented in a Hart Crowser <br /> memorandum dated June 24, 2015.
