Ted Budden <br /> From: Ted Budden <br /> Sent: Wednesday, September 16, 2015 3:27 PM <br /> To: Donald Cunningham <br /> Cc: Kevin Fagerstrom;Tony Lee;Jeff Heilman <br /> Subject: 2719 Cedar Street <br /> Don, <br /> Here is a summary of my observations based on the inspection conducted with you on 9/15/2015 for the building <br /> located at 2719 Cedar St. <br /> Alterations without required permits and approvals have been conducted to this house, including and not necessarily <br /> limited to the electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. (See IPMC sections 106.1 and 108.1.2) <br /> Additionally,walls have been constructed and rooms have been created to include additional kitchens, sleeping rooms, <br /> laundry rooms, and closets.The attic space in this building has been altered for use as occupied space without required <br /> permits and approvals in a manner that is in violation of adopted codes. (IPMC section 108.1.4) <br /> Many non-compliant conditions and code violations were observed not limited to: Modifications and alterations to the <br /> electrical system made where wiring is incorrectly installed, circuit breakers and electrical panels added without permits <br /> and approval. (IPMC section 605) <br /> Electrical outlets and devices in some locations were observed to be installed incorrectly and in violation of code. (See <br /> IPMC section 605.1) <br /> Plumbing work has been conducted without permits and approvals, some of this plumbing was observed to be installed <br /> incorrectly and in violation of code.
