ENGINEERING June 30, 2016 Mr. Bruce McKinnon 1617 Edgemoor Lane Everett, WA 98203 civil & structural engineering & planning Re: McKinnon Retaining Wall Final Approval Letter 1617 Edgemoor Lane .O CG Project No.15038.10 Dear Mr. McKinnon, In our final site visit to review the retaining wall construction that we made on June 9, 2016, we identified in our Structural Observation Report #1, a>construction issue with Dispersal "r for the drainage system on the slope. We observed that the Dispersal "I' was clogged with concrete cement paste from washing the exposed aggregate concrete driveway into the drainage system. Since that report was submitted to you we understand that you had Bodine Construction Services, the original contractor on the project, return to your home to fix the clogged Dispersal "T". You have sent us detailed descriptions and photos of the repair of the Dispersal'?" completed by Bodine Construction Services in an email that you sent to us on June 26, 2016. We have included some of the photos of the repair work that you documented during the repair process which is attached to this final letter. We find no reason to revisit the site to verify that the repair has been completed successfully and in accordance with our recommendations and those that Nelson Geotechnical stated in their final summary letter dated June 15, 2016. Based upon our final inspection and our Observation Report dated June 9, 2016 and the information that you have provided regarding the repair work completed, the retaining wall and the drainage system has been installed per our recommendations and approved structural and civil drawings. We trust this final letter meets your requirements at this time.
