July 27, 2016 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 12:30 p.m., June 27, 2016, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. <br /> Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Murphy presiding. Upon roll <br /> call, it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Murphy, <br /> Franklin, Bader, and Tuohy were present. Council Members Roberts, <br /> Moore, and Stonecipher were excused. <br /> Council Member Bader led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the July 20, 2016, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> OATH — POLICE OFFICER <br /> Moved by Council Member Tuohy, seconded by Council Member <br /> Franklin, to concur with the appointment of Adam Gage as a new <br /> police officer. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Members Roberts, Moore, and Stonecipher who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Deputy City Clerk administered the oath of office, and Mayor <br /> Stephanson presented the officer with his badge. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Tuohy reminded the public that next Tuesday, August 2, <br /> 2016, is National Night Out and encouraged everyone to visit the City's <br /> website to get more details. <br /> Council Member Franklin provided a liaison report on her attendance at <br /> the Community Streets Initiative meeting today.
