0101111P, 3J ,J ORDINANCE NO. 2654-02 ''� AN ORDINANCE creating a special park improvement project entitled "Everett TV Government Access Project", Fund 354, Program 019, to accumulate and expend any and all funds received from AT&T as provided and allowed by Ordinance 2613-02 and federal law for the benefit of the government access cable television channel. WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to providing a government TV access channel to be used as a medium for education, training programming, and public information; and WHEREAS, the City of Everett desires to create a fund to account for the receipt and expense of capital contributions received from AT&T pursuant to Ordinance 2613-02, passed on June 5, 2002, granting AT&T a non-exclusive cable television franchise; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 354, Program 019, entitled "Everett TV Government Access Project " to accumulate all capital contributions received from AT&T pursuant to Ordinance 2613-02 and all costs for Everett's cable television government access channel that may be paid out of such capital contributions as provided by Ordinance 2613-02 and applicable law. Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate funds and distribute payments from Fund 354, Program 019, for the improvement project. Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted for the Parks and Recreation Director, under direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. Section 4: The sum of$300,000 received from AT & T, is hereby appropriated to Fund 354, Program 019, " Everett TV Government Access Project", as follows:
