The building or dwelling unit shall he tested and verified as having an air leakage rate of not 5 air changes per hour in climate Zones 1 and 2, and 3S air <br />changes per hour in climates zones 3 through 8. Testing shall be conducted with a blower door at a pressure of 1.2 inches w.g (50Pascals). Where required by the code official, <br />testing shall be conducted by approved third party. A written report of the result of the test shall he signed by the party conducting the test and provide to the code official. <br />Testing shall be performed at any time after creation of all penetrations for the building thermal envelope. Once visual inspection has confirmed the presence of a gasket (see <br />section 502.4), operable windows and doors manufactured by small business shall permitted to be sealed offat the frame prior the test. <br />
