The purpose of the examination was to
determine the hazarcl rating of the subject trees and suggest remedial action if appropriate.
The trees were examined on May 26, 2005 by Tom Hanson.
Tree detail is attached on the "Tree hazard Evaluation Form".
The subject trees are native species (Douglas fir, Red Cedar and Grand fir) about to 60
years in age. The trees stand on the edge of Madrona Drive above the residence. The trees
subject to this letter report are alt within reach of improvements or human use areas. "Tree
Hazard Evaluation Forms" for each tree are attached.
Summary Table
Tree No. Location Species Dia* Comments
1 west Red Cedar 36
2 2 from Red Cedar 23 Ivy and Honeysuckle
west
3 middle Grand fir 28 Ivy and Honey suckle
4 2" from Red Cedar 36
east
5 east Douglas-fir 28
I found no structural defects, decay or indications of poor health in any of the subject trees.
Limb pruning for line of sight and utility iine clearance should have little affect on the trees as
long as 50-percent of tfie live green crown remains.
The ivy and honeysuckle vines should be cut at ground level and the vines allowed to dry on
the stems until they can be pulled off.
(425) 820-3420 • Fax (425) 820-3437 • www.inforesVy.com
