DEC042004
1 1232 120`'' Avenue NE #201 • Kirkland, WA 98033 •IATIONS &
MAINTENANCE
Mr. Larry Cram
City of Everett, Street Department
3200 Cedar St.
Everett, WA 98201
Re: Tree 1511 Rucker , Everett, WA
Dear Mr. Cram:
At your request, I have examined a Flowering purple leaf plum (prunus sp.) standing at
1511 Rucker Avenue in Everett, Washington. The purpose of the examination was to
determine the hazarzi rating af the subject tree and suggest remedial action if appropriate.
The tree was examinec! on November 29 ,2004 by Tom Hanson.
Tree detail is attached on the `Tree hazard Evaluation Form".
The subject tree is 40 or more years in age witt a single trunk. It is over mature but has no
visible indications of decay or structural defects. The crown appears to be full and leaf size is
normal.
The sidewalk is heaved and recently repaired.
There is no significant target, should the tree fail and fall over.
Sidewalk repair might sever roots on the east side of the tree, however in consideration of tte
overaA condition of the tre, this should not significantly afFect tree longevity.
1t is my opiniGrr that this tree s 1ut n rernovai u rriedial etiri.
The►'e is no wairanty suggested for any of the trees subject fo this reporf. WeatMer, latent
tr; cbnditions, and futur man-caused activities could cause physiologic changes artd
deteriorating tre condition. Over time, deteriorating tree conditions may appear and there
may be conditions, which a not now visib/e which, could cause tree hailure. This report or
the verbaJ comments mad at the site in no way warrant the sfructura! stability or /ong term
condition of any tr8e, but rpresent my opinion basd on the observations made.
Nearly all tres in any condition standing wihin rach of improvemerrts or human use aras
present hazards that could lead to damage or injur
Rlease call if 1 can be of further assistance.
(425) F322-5915 • Fax (425) 822-5975 • www.inforestry.com
