If the geotech checks out, the owners will need to
sign two covenants: a Critical Areas Covenant and a Geotechnical Covenant. I've attached the documents. When we get
further along I can give you or the owners instructions on how to complete these documents. The Critical Area Covenant
requires a site plan that defines the "critical areas". The site plan needs to be formatted to Snohomish County
requirements for recording. The geotech should be able to identify which areas are classified as the "critical area" but
generally they are measured from the top of the slope plus 25 feet buffer at least along the south side of the residence.
The plans are still in the cue for building review so you won't lose your place in the line-up.
Feel free to call me if you have questions. We will be closed on Tuesday for Veteran's Day.
Teresa Weldon
Associate Planner
City of Everett Planning Department
Direct: 425.257.7281
Permit Services: 425.257.8810
