I felt that an arborist
should check this tree over and thin it out as-well-as top and shape it. The tree seems to
be healthy; however, the walk-way is directly underneath it.
On Monday morning, June 13, 2005 I noticed two large limbs that had blown down in the
middle of the road. I cleared them off to the side of the road for vehicular traffic,
however, had this happened while anyone of any age had been walking along, I am afraid
they would have either been seriously hurt or killed as a result.
I am notifying the City as, it is my understanding that, although Burlington Northern
Railroad owns these trees they are not maintaining them and the City has jurisdiction
over them. If this information is incorrect, kindly inform me as to whom I should contact
with this concern.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter as the tree is very heavy currently with
new spring leaves. I do feel that timing is of the essence as additional branches could
break and jeopardize the well being of numerous walkers and site seers.
With regards,
s""
Marcia Duecy
Resident @ 602 Warren Avenue
Everett, Washington 98201
