The <br /> ratio of the longest to shortest perimeter sides shall not exceed 3 to 1. <br /> One of these nozzles is pointed into the duct and the other is pointed into the plenum. <br /> The tip of the upper nozzle, of the pair of nozzles required for each duct, shall be positioned in the <br /> center of the duct opening and above the plane of the hood-duct opening between 1 in. (25 mm) and <br /> 24 in. (610 mm). The duct length is unlimited.
