illijoso••14 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2675-02 7447 ., r711 <br /> An ORDINANCE adjusting filtration rates for outside city customers and master meters <br /> and repealing Ordinance No. 2230-97 and Resolution No. 4825 (EMC 14.16.710) <br /> WHEREAS, the 2002 water cost of service study has been completed and <br /> WHEREAS, a rate adjustment of$0.028 per 100 cubic feet for wholesale and retail customers <br /> outside the City is needed to cover the cost of filtration due to higher peaking loads placed on the <br /> system by outside customers and <br /> WHEREAS, an adjustment is necessary to the master meter classification from 100 to 16 <br /> connections to stay current with Department of Health regulation definition and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Everett City Council does ordain: <br /> Section 1: Effective February 1, 2003, and thereafter, the monthly water rates and <br /> charges, monthly minimum charges, filtration charges, and provisions relating to rates and <br /> charges throughout the water system shall be as follows: <br /> A. Within the City Limits <br /> 1. Fixed rate accounts -minimum monthly water charge $13.55 <br /> Filtration charge 2.95 <br /> Total Fixed Rate $16.50 <br /> 2. a. Domestic metered rates - water charge <br /> First 600 cu. ft., 0-600 cu. ft. $8.49 <br /> Over 600 cu. ft. 1.415 per 100. cu. ft <br /> b. In addition, there shall be added a filtration charge of$0.295 per 100 cu. <br /> ft., $1.77 per month minimum. <br /> c. The following minimum monthly charge shall apply to all Residential <br /> metered services to which water is available without regard to actual <br /> consumption: <br /> 1 <br />
