We understand that you recently had some landscaping
work performed and uncovered some tiered concrete rubble retaining walls along the top of a steep north-
facing slope below the residence supporting a grass yard area. We observed that the walls appeared to
have settled somewhat and were in serious disrepair. We understand that you wish to replace these
existing walls with engineered retaining walls along with additional slope stabilization measures, and
have requested our opinions and recommendations for design and installation of a new engineered
retaining wall.
