May 28, 2014 <br /> Council Member Roberts asked for an amendment to the motion adding <br /> the following as Section 7.5 (e) to the General Transfer Agreement: <br /> (e) execution by the City and the Port of the comprehensive public access <br /> agreement referred to in Recital C of this Agreement. <br /> Discussion ensued as to the purpose of the amendment. <br /> Council Member Murphy, as maker of the motion, agreed to the inclusion <br /> of the amendment. <br /> Roll was called on the motion as amended with all council members <br /> voting yes, except Council Member Stonecipher who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> AGREEMENT— REINSTATE K-9 OFFICER QUAY <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts, seconded by Council Member <br /> Anderson, to authorize the Mayor to sign the agreement with Michael <br /> Braley to reinstate K-9 Officer Quay. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Member Stonecipher who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> GRANT — 2014 EDWARD BYRNE MEMORIAL JUSTICE ASSISTANCE <br /> Moved by Council Member Murphy, seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts, to authorize the Mayor to approve the application and <br /> accept the documents, if awarded, from the United States <br /> Department of Justice for the Fund Year 2014 Edward Byrne <br /> Memorial Justice Assistance Grant in the amount of$53,568.00. <br /> 142 <br />
