I will put this in the file and await the revision set.
Thank you, Steve
From: Richard Glasman [mailto:richardgCamgarchitecture.net]
Sent: Monday, October 28, 2013 3:10 PM
To: Steve Miller
Subject: RE: 2730 Oaks
Steve,
Just left you a voice mail. My email was actualiy asking if Everett had any issues with using wire in a guard rail. There will
be no one but nursing mothers with babes in arms allowed in the oniy room with potential access to the mezzanine rail.
All toddlers are check-in downstairs and tightly supervised in the toddler area. Not to mention that the only door to this
un-usable 30" wide mezzanine space will be locked.
But this is beside the point. I don't see how kids using this building affects this very clear exception in the IBC which is
actually made so that kids and short folks can actually see the show in a space like this... or Comcast Arena, or the Aqua
sox park or any number of churches in Everett (including OLPH and St Mary Magdalen... both of which I have worked
on).
As I mention above, given the odd nature of the space (the "mezzanine hallway") I doubt any one will ever have access
to it... other than those folks {sound, lighting, etc...) who are putting on the show. Based on the phone conversation we
just had as I was writing this email, I appreciate your willingness to reconsider the wire spacing for this guard rail
extension.
Richard Glasman, LEEDap
  t` i
206.323.2173
From: Steve Miller [mailto:SMillerCaeverettwa.gov]
Sent: Monday, October 28, 2013 2:09 PM
To: 'Richard Glasman'
Subject: RE: 2730 Oaks
Hi Richard,
Will this proposed guard really be in an assembly seatirg area as described in exception 5? Also the proposed plans
indicate the potential for the presence of children. i don't think we could accept the detaii as proposed.
Thank you, Steve
From: Richard Glasman [mailto:richardg@mgarchitecture.net]
Sent: Monday, October 28, 2013 11:38 AM
