Note that this panel was instailed in 2008 when the "newer" 40kVA
UPS was installed. At that time, we used a load for the 11PS of 40kVA and carried it through the calculations.
The current project will not be adding new load to the facility; the hospitai is actually pianning to decommission some of
the equipment in the Server Room that is currently being fed out of the "newer" UPS. A summary of the load revisions for
the project is as foilows:
- The "old" UPS (30kVA} is currently fed from Panel CP1 (connected to Bus #4 of A-Wing distribution). This UPS will
be demolished.
o Currently twa laad cnters in the A-Wing MC7F are served from this UPS. hese feeds will be moved to the
"newer" UPS as part of the praject.
_. Ofiher circuits that are fed from the "old" UPS will be moved to Panei CP1 as part of the project.
- The "newer" UPS (4QkVA) installed in 208 is fed from Panel A1CH1 (connected fio Panel NCC in C-Wing).
_: The loads in the A-Wing MC7F will be moved to this UPS {project wi61 repface the two load centers with new
panels; laads remain as is}.
_. At the time Panel A1CH1 was installed, 40kVA of laad was shown for the 11PS in the C-Wing load
calculations. [We were nat sure how much equipment the IT staff would be installing, so we assumed a
worst case of a completely loaded system.]
_ Subsequent to this project; the hospital will be moving equipment aut af the Server Room, reducing the load
on this UPS.
Let me know if you need additionaf information.
Maureen D. If the demolished UPS was fed
from A1CH1 then calcs for the UPS will be sufficient.
Thanks
