Through <br /> communication and coordination, SNOTRAC partners work together to reduce duplication of services in the <br /> county while looking for new ways to help ensure everyone has access to transportation. <br /> SNOTRAC members include Snohomish County Senior Services, Snohomish County Government, City of <br /> Everett, Everett Transit,Community Transit,Tribes,private service providers, non-profit agencies, social <br /> service agencies, and customers. SNOTRAC is governed by an executive board of which Everett Transit is a <br /> member. <br /> Senior Services of Snohomish County manages SNOTRAC staff and also serves as the fiscal agent. <br /> SNOTRAC is funded through competitive state grants and local match.Through the current state biennium <br /> (June 30, 2017),the grant and local match funding is insufficient to maintain current programs. To balance <br /> the budget, SNOTRAC has asked its major partners to make a contribution to help ensure continuity of <br /> service. SNOTRAC has requested that Everett Transit contribute $5,000. Moving forward, SNOTRAC <br /> intends to use contributions from its partners for the local match for grant funded programs. The amounts of <br /> the future contributions have not yet been determined. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Adopt a Resolution for financial support to the Snohomish County Transportation Coalition (SNOTRAC) in <br /> the amount of$5,000. <br /> 69 <br />
