As you may recall, we completed <br />construction of Phase 1 and provided the City a copy of the wetland/buffer mitigation as-built plan back in <br />2013. Ecology is requiring Boeing to install two additional groundwater extraction wells to optimize hydraulic control <br />and capture of the TCE groundwater plume on Boeing property and further minimize discharge to Powder Mill Creek <br />(which we are referring to as the "Phase 1 Expansion"). These Phase 1 Expansion extraction wells and associated <br />electrical/communication conduits will be located within the creek and/or wetland buffer as shown on the attached <br />draft plan. The Phase 1 Expansion work is anticipated to be performed by the end of 2015 and anticipate that <br />restoration worl< would be completed in early 2016. <br />
