Additional revisions or additions may be <br />required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the <br />(2012 International Building Code,) (2012 International Residential Code,) as amended by the <br />State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2012 Edition, and adopted by the <br />City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br />provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the <br />corrections requested, along with a reduced set of plans no larger than 11" x 17". <br />1. Provide load path for all point loads to the foundation. Provide size and location of <br />footings, footing/post connection, transfer of load through floor assembly, and <br />post/beam connection. <br />2. Provide u-value of all new windows. <br />3. When alterations repairs or additions requiring permits occur, or when one or more <br />sleeping rooms are added or created in existing dwellings, the individual dwelling unit <br />shall be equipped with smoke alarms as required for new dwellings. R314.31 IRC. <br />4. Where work requiring a permit occurs in existing dwellings that have attached garages <br />or in existing dwelling within which fuel-fired appliances exist, carbon monoxide alarms <br />shall be provided in accordance with Section R315.1 IRC. <br />5.
