2003 Budget Adjustments Tally Sheet Department Code Rev Exp FB NGA-1 EMS Amendment-Property Tax 153A 19,446 19,446 The City received notification that new construction in the City of Everett in 2002 was$35 million greater than anticipated during the 2003 budget formation process. The result is an increase of property tax revenue to the General Fund of$142,294 and to the EMS fund of$19,446. The City eliminated this program from the 2003 budget with a commitment to find an alternative funding source to re- instate the program in 2003. This amendment re-instates the program with two employees (Assistant City Attorney II,Admin.Assistant)and seasonal Legal Interns. The temporary source of alternative funding is the Criminal Justice Fund 156. The City has re-applied for grant funds. See GGA-7.
