These new residents would benefit from increased access to materials to help them learn Engilish, books in their own language to help them share their heritage with their children, and a knowledge of the resources available at the library for people of all ages and interests. Through this Library Services and Technology Act Grant(LSTA),the Everett Public Library will provide enhanced service to non-English speaking residents of Everett. In 2002,the Library spent$8,495 of the grant funds and didn't receive any grant reimbursement revenue. This request will carryforward the remaining grant related expenditures of$26,165, along with the grant revenue of $34,660.
