B-2(B) Office Zone. The purpose of the office zone is to: <br /> a. Promote and provide areas for a variety of office uses and office park development, which <br /> are constructed, maintained and operated in a manner designed to be compatible with adjoining <br /> residential neighborhoods and other less intensive land uses; <br /> b. Allow certain community service uses and multiple-family residential use; and <br /> c. Permit a limited type and amount of service businesses oriented to the surrounding business <br /> areas. <br /> 4. C-1 General Commercial Zone. The purpose of the general commercial zone is to provide <br /> for a wide range of retail businesses, consumer and commercial services for the greater Everett <br /> area, and allow for the development of multiple-family housing and mixed-use commercial and <br /> multiple-family residential use. C-1R Regional Commercial-Office Zone. The purpose of the regional commercial-office <br /> zone is to provide areas for large scale retail businesses oriented to a regional consumer market, <br /> high quality office park development, and related consumer and business services. Adult use <br /> businesses are permitted uses, consistent with the purpose and intent of this zone; provided they <br /> meet the locational requirements of Section 39.025.A. <br /> 6. B-3 Central Business District Zone. The purpose and function of the central business district <br /> zone is to: <br /> a. Provide a strong central urban focus and identity for the city; <br /> b. Provide a multi-use character of retail, service, financial, office, governmental, residential, <br /> human service and cultural activities; <br /> c. Encourage a pedestrian-oriented environment; <br /> d. Encourage urban design amenities within the downtown core area; <br /> e. Implement the goals, objectives and policies of the Everett comprehensive plan; and <br /> 6 <br />
