Concrete block walls. Concrete block construction used over 25 percent of a building <br /> façade visible from a public roadway, pathway, or park must be architecturally treated <br /> in one or more of the following ways: <br /> (1) Use of textured blocks with surfaces such as split face or grooved. <br /> (2) Use of other masonry types, such as brick, glass block, or tile in conjunction with <br /> concrete blocks. <br /> (3) Use of decorative coursing to break up blank wall areas. <br /> (4) Use of matching colored mortar where color is an element of architectural <br /> treatment for any of the options above. <br /> (5) Other treatment approved by the City. <br /> c.
