Free-standing (monument) signs in the MUO must not be taller than 6 feet above grade. <br /> 2. Free-standing monument signs in the MUO shall not have a sign area greater than 40 <br /> square feet per side. <br /> 3. Permitted number of signs. One sign is permitted per frontage, per property. Additional <br /> monument signs are permitted on a property with multiple driveways provided signs are <br /> at least 200 feet apart. <br /> 4. Monument signs for individual businesses are encouraged to include the street address <br /> number. <br /> 5. Materials and design. Monument signs shall utilize materials and architectural design <br /> elements that are consistent with the architecture of the buildings. The materials and <br /> design features must be a prominent visual element of the overall sign. <br /> 6. If the whole sign face is illuminated, then the background color must be darker than the <br /> lettering and logo to avoid glare. <br /> 68 <br />
