Pursuant to the terms of Section 13.1(A) of Ordinance No. 2613-02 (the cable franchise agreement), Comcast of Everett, Inc. (formerly Everett Cablevision of Washington, Inc.), also known as Comcast, is pleased to report that the upgrade of the cable system serving the City of Everett (the "City")is now complete. As you know, the City now has ninety (90) days to verify completion of the cable system upgrade. For information related to the cable system upgrade, please contact the Manager of Regional Construction, Larry Thurmond, at (425) 317-9601, ext. 222. Upon completion of the City's verification process, please provide me with written confirmation of the City's findings. Finally, Comcast completed its cable system upgrade within eight (8) months of the franchise effective date (July 11, 2002), and we therefore respectfully request the City's extension of the franchise for a period of two (2) years, consistent with the terms of Section 13.1(B) of Ordinance No. 2613-02.
