LAND USE DESIGNATION EQUIVALENT SHORELINE ENVIRONMENT <br /> ZONING DESIGNATION <br /> 5.4 Office and Industrial Park M-1 N/A <br /> Agricultural <br /> 6.1 Agricultural A-1 Urban Conservancy-Recreation <br /> Aquatic <br /> 7.1 Aquatic AQ Aquatic <br /> Aquatic Conservancy <br /> Note: The City's Chaplain Watershed, located outside of the Everett Planning Area and the <br /> Snohomish County Urban Growth Area, will be given a zoning designation allowing uses that <br /> are compatible with water and forest resource management activities when the Zoning Code is <br /> updated. <br /> *These uses are not listed as permitted in the SMP in any environment, but could be permitted <br /> through a Conditional Use Permit. <br /> SECTION 4: Section IV.C.1.7 of the Land Use Element of the City of Everett Growth <br /> Management Comprehensive Plan, Exhibit A of Ordinance No. 2021-94, as amended, is hereby <br /> amended by the addition of the following policy: <br /> 1.7.8 Transportation Facilities of Statewide Significance are defined in RCW 47.06.140. <br /> Certain of these Facilities are also Essential Public Facilities as defined in RCW 36.70A.200. <br /> The City of Everett is obligated to provide for both Transportation Facilities of Statewide <br /> Significance and Essential Public Facilities in appropriate zones. Certain of these Facilities, <br /> however, should be permitted in all zones: <br /> a. The interstate highway system; <br /> b. Interregional state principal arterials including ferry connections that serve statewide travel; <br /> c. Regional transit systems as defined in RCW 81.104.015; <br /> d. High capacity transportation systems serving regions as defined in RCW 81.104.015; <br /> e. Intercity passenger rail services; <br /> f. Intercity high-speed ground transportation; <br /> g. Rail fixed guideway system, as defined in RCW 81.104.015, excluding yards and service and <br /> maintenance facilities; <br /> h. The freight and passenger railroad system as regulated by the Federal Railroad <br /> Administration, excluding yards and service and maintenance facilities; and <br /> i. In shoreline zones, and in adjacent zones where all or any portion of a development is within <br /> a shoreline designated area or zone, marine port and barge facilities and services that are <br /> related to marine activities affecting international and interstate trade, excluding centralized, <br />
