The dimension of the ramp shown on the drawings from the van access aisle to the <br />tenant entrance should be shown to be not greater than 1:12 slope, per ICC A117�Z009 <br />section 405.2, to provide an accessible route, per ICC A117-2009 section 406.1. <br />a) The ramp length creates 1:6 slope on the drawings submitted on 8/7. <br />2. The landing at the top of the ramp should be shown as a minimum of 44 inches, per ICC <br />A117-2009 section 406.7, and IBC section 1101.2.2 as amended by the State of <br />Washington. <br />3. The van accessible parking spot shouid be shown as ciose to the building entry or tenant <br />space(s) as possible, per IBC section 3411.12, There are several tenants in the building, <br />so the location of the accessible route to the tenant door(s) should be clearly marked on <br />the drawings submitted for permit. <br />4. Length and width of existing access ramp in front of the door, including the dimension <br />of the landing from the top of the ramp to the restaurant door <br />9. Ali proposed changes to restore the existing coriditions to acceptable standards must be <br />' shown on the plans and must be clearly labeled as'�proposed". The proposed work shali <br />be clearly identifiable (bold line type/weight, different color, etc.) in comparison to the <br />existing conditions. A legend should be added to the plans as needed to distinguish <br />between existing and proposed conditions. <br />10. Traffic and Public Works will allow the existing wheel stops to be removed if desired, as <br />vehicles can have up to a 2.5' hangover into the landscaped area.
