001/mNiij <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3382-14 <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project <br /> entitled "Broadway Bridge Replacement Project"' Fund <br /> 303, Program 089, and repealing Ordinance No. 3178-10 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to a planned traffic and safety improvement <br /> program; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett has identified the need and received approval for the utilization <br /> of Federal funds to design and construct a replacement for the Broadway Bridge; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 089, entitled <br /> "Broadway Bridge Replacement Project" to accumulate all costs for the project and repealing <br /> Ordinance No. 3178-10. <br /> Section 2: <br /> Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, <br /> Program 089, for all expenses of the improvement project. <br /> Section 3: <br /> Authorization is hereby granted for the "Public Works Director", under direction of the Mayor, <br /> to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to <br /> accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: <br /> The sum of $13,613,800 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 089, "Broadway Bridge <br /> Replacement Project" as follows: <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs <br /> Design and Right-of-Way $ 2,715,800 <br /> Construction 10,898,000 <br /> Total Estimated Cost $ 13,613,800 <br /> B. Source of Funds <br />
