September 14, 2016 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., September 14, 2016, in the City Council Chambers of the <br /> William E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Murphy presiding. <br /> Upon roll call, it was found that Council Members Roberts, Moore, <br /> Murphy, Franklin, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. Mayor <br /> Stephanson was excused. Council Member Bader was expected to be a <br /> few minutes late. <br /> Aiden Baird, member of Boy Scout Troop No. 18, led the Pledge of <br /> Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the September 7, 2016, City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> President Murphy announced that Item No. 6 was pulled from today's <br /> agenda. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson was excused. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Moore reported on the discussion regarding Service <br /> Center Redevelopment that took place this evening at the Budget and <br /> Finance Subcommittee meeting. He thanked City staff for detailed <br /> information. Council Member Moore also encouraged citizens to watch the <br /> meeting when it becomes available. <br /> Council Member Roberts stated that the General Government <br /> Subcommittee meeting previously scheduled for September 21, 2016, was <br /> cancelled and will be rescheduled soon. <br /> President Murphy reminded the public that the facilitated Council <br /> Workshop to begin the visioning process is scheduled for October 1, 2016, <br /> at 8:00 a.m. at the City Council Chambers.
