twalton@vinculums.com
206-334-4116
From: Kelly Lester [mailto:kiester@vinculums.com]
Sent: Wednesday, October 03, 2012 11:24 AM
To: everettepsC1ci.everett.wa.us
Cc: Todd Walton
Subject: Building Permit at 2517 Howard Avenue/SE63XC209
Good morning!
I spoke with Theresa, yesterday afternoon, and Fahim, this morning, regarding a building permit
submittal for a Sprint cell site at 2517 Howard Avenue. Both Theresa and Fahim stated that a
zoning review is required for this project because the area is zoned as residential.
This morning, I asked Fahim for the zoning application and the code reference which requires a Rev
II. He was so kind as to print and circle the section of the code (page 704-303, Section 41.150...(2))
which requires a Rev II for this site. Upon further review, I've noticed that per the bottom of the
page (Section 41.250...(9)), the replacement of equipment shown in the project attached to this
email is exempt from Rev II review:
"(9) Maintenance, repair, or replacement of existing utility or communications facilities or
appurtenant structures and the installation of minor above ground utility and communications
facilities are exempt from this section. This exemption includes replacement or increased heights
of not more than twenty feet to accommodate wireless telecommunications antennas."
Please review the attached drawings and the above-referenced code, and reply to confirm my
understanding of Everett's building code. I would like to submit this building permit as soon as
possible.
Thank you!
Kelly Lester
Project Coordinator
ZINC UIXIN-15
.
3301 Burke Ave. N., Ste. 100
Seattle, WA 98103
klester&vinculums.com
Office: (206) 213-9932, Ext. 224
Mobile: (425) 289-9230
2
