r <br /> AP <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3915 <br /> A RESOLUTION changing and establishing speed limits on certain <br /> Everett city streets. <br /> WHEREAS, EMC 46.08.050 grants City Council the authority to alter speed limits; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett Police Department has requested speed limit changes on some <br /> Everett city streets; and <br /> WHEREAS, traffic engineering staff has conducted engineering studies and <br /> recommends certain changes; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Transportation Advisory Committee has reviewed the staff <br /> recommendations and recommends that the speed limit changes be authorized; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF EVERETT that the following speed limits be established: <br /> Tower, from North Broadway to Broadway, to 25 mph; <br /> 10th Street, from North Broadway to Rucker, to 25 mph; <br /> 12th Street, from Broadway to East Marine View Drive, to 25 mph; <br /> California, from West Marine View Drive to Terminal, to 25 mph; <br /> Terminal Avenue, to 25 mph; <br /> Bond Street, to 25 mph; <br /> 47th Street, from Evergreen Way to Black Forest Lane, to 25 mph; <br /> 50th Street, from Evergreen to Colby, to 25 mph; <br /> Hardeson Road, from Merrill Creek Parkway to 75th Street, to 35 mph; <br /> Kasch Park Road, to 25 mph; <br /> 75th Street, from Beverly Lane to Beverly Boulevard, to 25 mph; <br /> 100th Street, from 4th Avenue West to Holly Drive, to 30 mph; <br /> Sievers-Duecy Boulevard, to 35 mph; <br /> 79th Place, from Evergreen Way to Beverly Lane, to 25 mph; <br /> and that the City Traffic Engineer shall order and install such signs, markings and <br /> devices as are necessary to affect this change. <br /> 0 <br /> A.4 'L?rY-? ‘ <br /> Councilperson Introducing Resolution <br /> Passed And Approved this 2nd day of March , 19 94. <br /> Council resident <br /> jcl/TACRES.doc(4) <br />
