I was able to revisit the concerns at 10 E McGill Ave today. Here is
what I have determined.
On 1/20/2011 we posted a stop work order on this house for work being performed without required permits. This work
included the addition of a dormer on the south side of the building, reframing of the roof, a porch addition and various
interior alterations, the extent of which has yet to be determined.
The owner was issued a permit on 7/15/20111 for reroofing only to allow the building to be protected from the
elements until the balance of the work could be permitted and approved as required.
The owner has not applied for the balance of the required permits. In addition, no approvals to date have been granted
for the re-roof portion of the project.
The property remains posted with the original stop work order. The property remains in violation for the
aforementioned construction activity.
Thank you for bringing this matter back to my attention. Obviously enforcement action will be necessary to bring this
property into compliance.
Ted Budden
i
