Thanks, Tony
From: Kevin Fagerstrom
Sent: Monday, March 12, 2012 3:11 PM
To: Ted Budden; Tony Lee
Subject: 1022 Oakes
Gents,
Please take a look at CRW Case 10-0930. It is a legal duplex with an illegal tri-plex unit constructed in the garage w/o
permits. We enforced against the prior owner and following our case, they went into foreclosure and it went back to the
bank. We clouded the title. The bank has now hired a real estate company to sell the property and they are marketing it
as a tri-plex ! I have contacted the RE company and warned them of their folly and the presence of the cloud, but they
are not responding. I am concerned that if the RE company puts their mind to it, they may actually be able to circumvent
the cloud and that an unsuspecting new owner will purchase and get themselves into trouble. Will you discuss the
property with Steve Ingalsbe and if you feel appropriate, post the garage building as an Unlawful Structure. I can then
condemn it and post it as such and hopefully this will abort any illegal sale unless they respond to our cloud.
Thanks!
Kevin Fagerstrom
Code Enforcement Supervisor
Everett Police Department
425.257.8565
