I <br /> CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS 111 <br /> 1-05.19(2) Meetings with City I <br /> The Contractor shall have its duly authorized representative attend periodic <br /> informational meetings with the City's Representative and City staff, as reasonably <br /> required by the City. ' <br /> Contractor, City, and City's Representative shall meet as often as determined by the <br /> City's Representative, but no less often than once each month. The purpose of the <br /> meeting is to review Project status in relation to the construction schedule; review <br /> value of Work completed during the previous month; and, if applicable, review <br /> Contractor's plans to return Project status to that required by the schedule. If <br /> requested by the City or City's Representative, the Contractor shall submit a written <br /> progress report within five (5) days following this meeting, comprising: <br /> The current construction schedule indicating percent complete, actual completion or <br /> start dates since the previous review, the estimated remaining duration for each activity <br /> in progress, Schedule of Values update, and narrative summary. <br /> Reasons any activities are behind schedule and the corrective steps being taken. <br /> 1-05.19(3) Cooperation with Others <br /> The Contractor agrees to permit entry to the work site by the City, its employees or <br /> other contractors performing Work on behalf of the City. The Contractor shall afford to <br /> the City, other contractors and their employees, reasonable facilities and cooperation <br /> and arrange its work and dispose of its materials in such a manner as to not interfere <br /> with the activities of the City or of others upon the site of Work. The Contractor shall <br /> promptly make good Contractor-caused injury or damage to persons or property that <br /> may be sustained by other contractors or employees of the City. The Contractor shall <br /> join its Work to that of others and perform its Work in proper sequence in relation to <br /> that of others. <br /> If requested by the Contractor, the City will arrange meetings with other contractors <br /> performing Work on behalf of the City to plan coordination of construction activities. <br /> The Contractor shall inform itself of the planned activities of other contractors and will <br /> coordinate its Work with the other contractors. <br /> Contractor shall notify the City of problems, interference or any difficulty with other <br /> contractors or workers engaged by the City. The Notice shall be sufficiently prompt <br /> and specific so as to allow the City to mitigate or avoid increased costs, time of <br /> performance, damages or injury. Contractor's failure to provide such Notice in a timely <br /> way shall be deemed a waiver and release of any and all Contract Claims relating to. <br /> arising out of, or caused by, any alleged interference, difficulty or problem with another <br /> contractor or worker engaged by the City. <br /> 1-06 CONTROL OF MATERIAL <br /> Supplement Section 1-06 as follows: <br /> References to materials shall also mean Contractor furnished Equipment, if any, as <br /> specified in these Special Provisions. <br /> 1-06.1 Approval of Materials Prior to Use <br /> Revise the first paragraph of 1-06.1 to read as follows: <br /> Prior to use, Contractor shall notify the Engineer of all proposed materials. Contractor <br /> may use the Qualified Product List (QPL) and the Aggregate Source Approval (ASA) <br /> Database.
