Using Mannings equation <br /> Q(full) = 1.49/n*A*R'J3*S"2,n=0.12 <br /> 12-inch pipe at 0.6 percent slope has the capacity to convey 2.99 cfs. <br /> 18-inch pipe at 0.6 percent slope has the capacity to convey 8.83 cfs <br /> Using the 25 year and 100 year peak runoff values shown in Table 5 of Section 4 and comparing that to the <br /> capacity values for 12 and 18-inch pipe, it can be determined that the proposed pipes for the project have <br /> capacity to convey the cumulative 100 year stormwater runoff from the north and south basins of 1.42 cfs <br /> and 3.83 cfs respectively. <br /> CEI Project#141001 Pg. 12 <br />
