Additional revisions or additions may be <br /> required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the <br /> (2012 International Building Code,) (2012 International Residential Code,) as amended by the <br /> State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2012 Edition, and adopted by the <br /> City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br /> modify the submitted drawings or provide the Building Division with two new <br /> complete sets of drawings reflecting the corrections requested. <br /> 1. Construction drawings for permit application are required to be a minimum scale of <br /> 1/4" = V-0" or larger. The plans shall clearly define the scope of work to be performed <br /> and how it meets the requirements of the applicable codes. <br /> 2. Below grade walls are required to be insulated per Table R402.1.1 of the Washington <br /> State Energy Code (WSEC). Provide section drawing of below grade walls from the top <br /> of the slab to the underside of the floor joists. Show required fireblocking on section <br /> drawing. Show all furred walls on plan view. <br /> 3. Show ceiling height on section drawing of basement. Habitable spaces are required to <br /> have minimum 7 foot ceiling height. <br /> 4. Egress windows shall have a sill height of not more than 44 inches (1118 mm) <br /> measured from the finished floor to the bottom of the clear opening.
