The contractor removed the roof sheathing, added a 2x4 <br /> to each side of the top chord to straighten and stiffen the top of the truss, and nailed the new <br /> sheathing into the new 2x4's with 8d spaced at 12-inches on center. <br /> New 15/32 gussets aussets must be installed at the eave gusset per the attached detail # 1.
