The original construction drawings
were provided to us. This building has a two story porte-cochere at
the west side, consisting of a single story concrete moment frame
platform supporting wood construction. The north & south wings of
the building are one story wood structures, above a crawlspace. At
the porte-cochere the concrete slab acts as diaphragm and transfers
loads to concrete moment frames consisting of concrete columns and
concrete beams. At the wood portion of the building, the 2x decking
is supported on wood beams and posts. Steel strap bracing
constitutes the horizontal diaphragm at these areas. No exterior wood shear walls were provided in the
SEArr..E: b+i:aitl,iut 9h121 US,A
1-,x 2U6-(2-U-'?
