April 27, 2016 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 12:30 p.m., April 27, 2016, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. <br /> Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Murphy presiding. Upon roll <br /> call, it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, <br /> Moore, Murphy, Franklin, Bader, and Tuohy were present. Council <br /> Member Stonecipher was excused. <br /> Council Member Bader led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the April 20, 2016, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. Council Member Moore abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Fire Chief Murray Gordon introduced two new Everett firefighters: Jay <br /> Bonnifield and Marcus Reinhard. Assistant Fire Chief Randall Utt <br /> presented them with their badges. <br /> Mayor Stephanson thanked voters for approving capital projects and <br /> technology levy and general obligation bonds for capital projects proposed <br /> by the Everett School District. The Mayor also commented on the Sound <br /> Transit (ST3) meeting held at Everett Station on April 25, 2016. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Bader reported on his attendance at the Transportation <br /> Advisory Committee (TAC) meeting last week. He also spoke about the <br /> Silver Lake neighborhood meeting last night. <br /> Council Member Roberts spoke about the Sound Transit 3 (ST3) meeting <br /> held at Everett Station on April 25, 2016. He reminded citizens that the <br /> deadline for submitting comments regarding the Sound Transit 3 (ST3) <br /> proposal is April 29, 2016. He also spoke about the citizen's concerns <br /> related to diesel exhaust. He forwarded the concerns to the Puget Sound <br /> Air Agency. Council Member Roberts reported on his attendance at <br /> several neighborhood meetings last week. He mentioned that the Everett <br /> Police crime data system doesn't produce crime statistics at the moment <br /> 138 <br />
